Hooray HQ ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

• Order & enquiry details: your name, email, phone, location/suburb, event date, budget range, and any notes you provide.
• Payment information: card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Basic technical data: standard website logs (e.g. via our hosting provider, Cloudflare).
• Cookies & analytics data: with your consent, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how our site is used and to measure our advertising (see §4).

2. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, and fulfil your orders and bookings.
• To communicate with you about your order or event.
• To improve our products and service.

3. Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party services to run our business, including Stripe (payments), Zoho CRM (managing enquiries and customer records), Cloudflare (website hosting), Google (Google Analytics — website usage measurement), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel). We share only what's necessary for these services to function. We do not sell your information, and we won't share it with others except as required by law.

4. Cookies & analytics

When you first visit our site we ask whether you're happy for us to use analytics and advertising cookies. We don't load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel unless you accept — if you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

• Google Analytics 4: helps us understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, general location, device). IP addresses are anonymised.
• Meta Pixel: measures the performance of our Facebook/Instagram ads and helps us reach people who may be interested in our balloons.

You can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. Essential cookies needed for the site and checkout to work are always on.

5. Photos of our work

We love sharing photos of our installations on our website and social media. Where a photo identifies you or your child, we'll seek your consent first.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it (where we're not required to keep it). Email [email protected] and we'll help.
