Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Hooray HQ ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party services to run our business, including Stripe (payments), Zoho CRM (managing enquiries and customer records), Cloudflare (website hosting), Google (Google Analytics — website usage measurement), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram — measuring and targeting our advertising). We share only what's necessary for these services to function. We do not sell your information, and we won't share it with others except as required by law.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how visitors find and use our site. It sets cookies that collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — pages viewed, general location (city/region), device type, and how you arrived at the site. This information does not identify you personally, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

We also use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It sets advertising cookies that let us measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads — for example, whether visitors who arrived from an ad went on to make an enquiry or a booking — and show our ads to people likely to be interested. The information shared with Meta may include the pages you view and the actions you take on our site; it is not used to identify you to other people.

If you'd prefer not to be measured, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on, adjust your Facebook ad preferences, or block and clear cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies needed for the site and checkout to work are always on.

5. Photos of our work

We love sharing photos of our installations on our website and social media. Where a photo identifies you or your child, we'll seek your consent first.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it (where we're not required to keep it). Email [email protected] and we'll help.
